There's a lot of other important events including General Orientation Sessions, International Student Talks (essential for new International Students), Accommodation Talks and other events which should provide you with a very solid start to your days as a Trinity Postgrad Student!
Monday 11 September
On Monday 11th, join us for Postgrad Orientation Week launch at 10 am where our own GSU Alumnus, and current Vice Provost Prof. Chris Morash kicks off the weeks proceedings.
The Annual Provost's Welcome Address will begin at 4.45 pm in the Edmund Burke Theatre followed by our Welcome Reception at 6 pm in the Public Theatre. We continue the celebratory mood by heading on down to the Céilí Night at Whelan's starting @ 7:45
And in what is becoming a Tradition, the electrifying and energetic 'Scoops' take to the stage after the traditional music finishes to get everyone 'Stuck on you'. Not to be missed, these guys are hitting all the right notes to make it big and fresh from their appearance at Electric Picnic, we are once again lucky to have Scoops on the night!!

And then come and join us for a Quiz Night at Oscars Cafe (Fishamble Street) at 7:15 pm with €100 going to the winning team - who are the cleverest PG Freshers among us?
Wednesday 13th is action packed, join us in the morning for the launch of new PG Spaces on campus in the 1937 Reading Room, sign-up to the second History tour of Dublin departing at 2.15 pm from the following link
before returning to campus for the brilliant Celebrity Comedy Hypnotist Jason O'Callaghan put on a great late afternoon performance beginning at 5pm in the Edmund Burke Theatre! See here for more info

The Library are hosting a Seminar 'Walking in Their Shoes - Taking a Student-Centred Approach to Academic Practice at 5.30 pm in the North Training Room, Berkeley Library with a reception to follow the seminar for attendees! Places are limited, booking is essential at the following link:
And then get ready for our Rainbow Pub Crawl with QSoc which will begin in the Pavilion Bar @ 6:45pm
We have Friday Funday. With the Clubs and Societies Fair @ 11am in the Sports Hall
An introduction to GAA, the national sport in Ireland at 3 pm in the Sports Centre with our very own All-Trinity Cup up for Grabs!!
And the big one, on Friday 15th we bring to you 'Gradstonbury'; the biggest postgraduate event each year. This will begin @ 7.30 pm in TRAMLINE- with exciting up and coming The City and Us performing on the night, as well as Brave Giant - one of the best sounds coming out of Ireland right now!!
